In today's society, nutritionally balanced meals at a low price are relatively unheard of. Low-income families and adolescents routinely eat at fast food restaurants due to their affordability, and thus suffer the consequences of unhealthy food. As a matter of fact, the Organic Consumers Association reported that the obesity problem is the worst in low-income communities. I have observed the problem of obesity in my community and have a business proposal to combat it. My plan is to develop a fast food chain that provides nutritionally balanced meals at an affordable price. I would like to form a business partnership with various organic farms across the country, such as Full Circle Farm in the Northwest Area. The mission of this farm is the same as that of my business: to make access to healthy food available to everyone.
I would like to call the fast food chain "Jackpot", because the name accurately reflects the restaurants' intended theme: the perfect combination of great food at a great price. Eating at the restaurant is like winning a contest: taste, nutrition, and affordability all in one place.
